Nazly brings a student-centered and adaptive approach to education, tailoring instruction to each learner’s unique needs and goals. They are passionate about fostering deep, conceptual understanding and encourage students to engage critically and confidently with challenging material. Drawing on their experience as a peer mentor and teaching assistant, they create supportive and inclusive learning environments where students feel empowered to thrive.

Nazly graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Biology, specializing in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics, and a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Their academic training reflects a deep commitment to scientific inquiry, interdisciplinary learning, and social justice.

Nazly’s research experience includes work at Boston University’s Marintchev Lab, where they investigated regulatory mechanisms of protein synthesis, as well as neurophysiological studies at the Marine Biological Laboratory, focusing on synaptic function in cephalopods. They also contributed to sustainability-focused research at the Born Global Foundation, integrating biological systems thinking into innovative environmental strategies.

Fluent in Italian and French and proficient in Arabic and Spanish, Nazly is well-equipped to support students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. In their free time, you can find them on the rock wall or making some music.
