Cristian Gualy

ACADEMIC INSTRUCTOR
TEST PREP INSTRUCTOR

Cristian is a magna cum laude Princeton University graduate who brings the same precision and analytical rigor he developed as a double major in Operations Research and Financial Engineering to his work with AH&A students.

Cristian works with students on the full range of SAT and ACT preparation, and his academic tutoring spans pre-Algebra through Multivariable Calculus, Statistics, Probability, AP Physics, AP Biology, and history. Cristian knows standardized tests from the inside: he earned a 1560 on the SAT, a 36 on the ACT, and 5s on 8 AP exams in high school, and has spent over five years helping students reach their own top scores.

Cristian invests in understanding how each student learns, then shapes his lessons accordingly. His goal is not just to improve scores but to help students become more independent and confident thinkers in the process. He is currently pursuing a master's in Mathematics of Finance at Columbia University.

Outside of tutoring, Cristian plays in a men's soccer league and composes jazz music—a combination that says a lot about how he thinks.
