Krista Mileva-Frank
DEVELOPMENT & APPLICATION COACH
ACADEMIC INSTRUCTOR
Krista brings energy, structure, and genuine intellectual curiosity to her work with AH&A students. With a BA magna cum laude in Art History and French from Williams College and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, she is currently pursuing a PhD at MIT. As a fellow at the MIT Teaching + Learning Lab, she understands the high expectations of selective academic institutions and how to help students meet them.
As a Development and Application Coach, Krista’s approach is scaffolded and transparent: she helps students build skills, take intellectual risks, and grow into confident writers and thinkers. Students find her enthusiasm contagious, and she has a gift for making the hard work of the application process feel engaging rather than overwhelming.
A California native with deep familiarity with both coasts, Krista is a strong guide for families navigating West Coast, East Coast, and competitive private university applications. When she is not coaching, she writes and curates exhibitions about design and architecture.
