Sasha’s positive energy and love for learning shines through in everything she does. She understands the pressures and stressors that come with making that big next jump into adulthood. She looks for unconventional ways to highlight student’s passions, pushing them to look within and center their perspectives in their writing. She tailors her assistance to meet students where they are, creating a supportive environment that makes the application process less daunting and, most importantly, more fun!
Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Sasha is a health policy analyst who has lived in Chicago, NYC, London, and is currently in Washington, DC. A Posse Scholar and graduate of Northwestern University with a B.S in Global Health Studies, Sasha worked as a Career Ambassador for the university’s career center and served as a co-educator for a leadership institute within her college. Sasha is a dedicated mentor and counselor. At Northwestern, she worked with FGLI (first-generation/low-income) students on how learning and cognition shape culture. Today, she guides teens through the Posse application process.
In her free time, Sasha enjoys the arts-DJing and making beats, watching films, reading, and writing. She also enjoys traveling and hiking.
